NSG Taekwondo Poomsae Championships
The National School Games (NSG) Taekwondo Poomsae Championships is an important event for the year. In this competition, students perform Poomsae, which are sequences of Taekwondo moves like stances, strikes, and kicks. They are judged on how accurately and skillfully they execute these moves. This championship helps students develop their Taekwondo skills, physical fitness, and sportsmanship. It also promotes the martial art's traditions and provides an opportunity for young athletes to compete, gain recognition, and make new friends from different schools.
In-house grading at MPS
In-house gradings are an important aspect of the Taekwondo journey, providing students with opportunities to demonstrate their progress and receive recognition for their efforts while also serving as a means for instructors to assess student development and readiness for advancement.
Weekly Training Session
MPS Taekwondo training is conducted in the school hall on Tuesdays. Under the coaching of experienced instructors, students engage in regular practice sessions to refine their skills and prepare for competitions or grading tests.
